"i bought very cheap fretless mandolin looks like ukulele on which was impossible to play. i listened to music of Fredrik Rasten which i played with him and some of his records. i love how he works with chords and simple rhythms, love his timbre and musical colours. i was inspired to wrote a piece. i took the mandolin with ebow as burdon ton and began to find the good sound chords, changing tonal centres. when i was ready, i put the mic on chair between me and mandolin and recorded this composition. i thought about piano music of Olivier Messiaen."
